Rosmaninho honey from Monte dos Bens is obtained from beehives in the heart of the Guadiana Valley Natural Park, where rosemary predominates.

The rosemary honey from Mértola is considered one of the best and most prestigious in Portugal, recognized nationally and internationally, with a light color and an intense honeycomb flavor.
From February onwards, the bees begin to collect the delicious nectar from the rosemary flowers and deposit it in the combs inside the hives.

When the month of June arrives, the collection of the combs from the hives begins, taken to facilities that have the best hygiene conditions. It is then uncapped, centrifuged and placed in deposits for decanting. When necessary, it goes to ripening warehouses to start the packaging and labeling process.
