Grande Reserva 2012 is the result of a special blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Alicante Bouschet and Castelão varieties grown in sandy soils on the banks of the River Sado.
WINEMAKER - António Saramago
It presents a vivid garnet color, with aromas of black plum, cherry, mandarin peel and black pepper, and development notes of dried fig, clove and tobacco. In the mouth this wine presents its best, with a harmonious balance between complex fruity and spicy flavors, good acidity and well-integrated tannins. It has a velvety, long and pleasant finish.
Vinification is carried out using the traditional method of tanning in Algerian vats, with fermentation temperatures at around 24º C. Aged in French and American barrels for over 2 years.
