Coming from the vineyards of the Eugénio de Almeida Foundation, the grape varieties used (from Alentejo, consecrated and recommended for the Controlled Denomination of Origin Alentejo) in the Pera Manca white and Pera Manca red give these wines well-marked personalities and their very own styles.
Produced from the Antão Vaz and Arinto grape varieties. After being harvested, part of the grapes ferment in stainless steel tanks and the other part in French oak barrels, at controlled temperature. After fermentation, it is aged for 12 months on fine lees with periodic batonnage. Finally, the wine benefits from a final stage in bottle for 6 months.
